Sectors and resources - Textile

The MUTREC group was created in 2017 to facilitate the transition of the Quebec textile sector to a circular economy. Its map of textiles flows shows that this sector remains essentially linear for the time being:

 

MUTREC has identified a variety of circular economy strategies that could be used. A project is currently underway to identify opportunities for the use of textile waste from industries, businesses and institutions.
